As we landed in London after an awesome camp in America & Canada winning two Silvers and a Bronze at the World Cup races in Copper Mountain we headed to Glasgow for our Team Launch where we got selected to represent Great Britain at this year 2014 Sochi Paralympic Games. We are extremely happy with how our performance and relationship is building and cannot wait to get to Russia and take in the atmosphere.

We have arrived in Tignes, and started our next World Cup races which concentrate on the speedier disciplines in Ski Racing. We have already taken Gold in both the Downhill races! We have a couple of days left here, until we get a rest at home with our families and friends before we head to Austria and prepare for the Winter Paralympic Games. Please follow us @CarolineSkier and @raceyjadeski on Twitter and Like our Facebook Page Jade Etherington. We cannot wait to share this experience with everyone and we look forward to representing our country.

Jade’s introduction to competition skiing came in the Summer of 2007 when she took part in the British Disabled Ski Team’s squad trial at the Manchester Chill Factore. By the end of the weekend she was offered a place on the BDST development squad and then attended one or two training camps every year whilst still at school.
